MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Ashlynn.

My accounting career started more than 20 years ago when an unexpected opportunity put me behind an accounts payable desk. What began as learning the mechanics of accounting grew into a career spanning multiple industries, roles, and increasingly complex financial operations.

Along the way, I noticed something that stuck with me: business owners were often handed financial reports without being given the context to actually understand them. The numbers might have been accurate, but that didn't necessarily make them useful.

I founded Lucid Ledgers to do things differently.

For me, the best part of this work is the moment when the numbers finally click—when a business owner understands what's happening, knows what deserves their attention, and feels confident about what to do next. That's the experience we've built Lucid Ledgers around.
